About ImgSplit
ImgSplit was built to solve a simple problem: splitting images shouldn't require expensive software or uploading files to unknown servers. We believe image editing tools should be free, private, and accessible to everyone.
Every image you process stays on your device — always.
ImgSplit runs entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. When you split an image, the processing happens locally on your device — no server round-trips, no uploads. Your images never leave your device. We use anonymous product analytics (Vercel Analytics) and error monitoring (Sentry) to improve the tool. This architecture ensures zero latency, complete privacy, and works offline after the initial page load.
100% Browser-Based
All image processing uses the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
Open Source
Full source code available on GitHub. Inspect, contribute, or fork — it's all transparent.
Privacy by Design
Your images never leave your device. We use anonymous product analytics and error monitoring — but we never analyze your image content. No advertising cookies, no personal identity tracking, no server-side image processing.
Free Forever
No paywalls, no premium tiers, no signup required. ImgSplit will always be free.
ImgSplit (imgsplit.com) is not affiliated with the npm package @imgsplit/core, github.com/imgsplit/imgsplit, or imgsplit.com.tr. The official source repository is github.com/ZooHero500/imgsplit.
