Cropping removes the outer edges of an image to keep one region. Cutting divides the entire image into multiple pieces — nothing is discarded, every pixel is preserved in one of the output pieces.
The tool uses straight horizontal and vertical cut lines, producing rectangular pieces. For non-rectangular shapes, consider using a dedicated masking tool.
Cut lines snap to pixel boundaries and support fine-grained dragging. You can position them with single-pixel accuracy.
Files up to 20 MB are supported. There is no pixel dimension limit, though very large images may take a moment to process.
